1. Go on as many adventures as possible.

I hope you’re going everywhere and doing everything. Hang out with your friends. Travel a lot. See as much of the world as possible. Try as many exotic foods as you can. Climb mountains. Join Fun Runs. Go diving and skydiving. Explore this beautiful world. I hope you’re starting to check off items on your bucket list because one day, when we’re finally together, I would like to hear all about it. One day you will share all those stories with me, and maybe we’ll try to do them together too.

The Power of Asking and Declaration

We were on our way back to our dorm after the Sunday Celebration. We did the usual thing: to ride using different trains from one place to another. Unfortunately, at Bandar Tasik Selatan, we were surprised with the number of people waiting for the train. Well, it’s the start of the week and unlike any other Sundays, most of the students came from their long week vacation. We didn’t know where to wait since the long line set us back. We just walked and looked for a place where we can breathe fresh air. 😛

The overwhelming number of people led us to a part of the waiting area where ate Xious and I were the only passengers standing because most of them already occupied the queue point where the train’s door normally opens. More comfortable but lesser probability of getting the train’s door open right in front of us. And it’s actually more hassle because having that case, we need to run and jostle with the bunch of students! (Survival of the fittest, it is!). So there, we stood for a few minutes until the next train came. In our hearts, we really wanted to get inside the train without being squeezed. When the train was already speeding down, we asked God if He could stop the train’s door in front of us. Of course, we also declared it heartily. To our surprise, the door’s mid-opening STOPPED right exactly in front of us. Bravo! we were the first to get inside, plus good seats were waiting specially for us! Wow God!

Isn’t it amazing? Isn’t it surprising?

Indeed, there is power in verses Matthew 7:7-11 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Let’s do this more often. 😀
